House Rules
The first 30 days is a probationary period and curfew is 10pm. After you have successfully completed the probationary period, the curfew is midnight unless another time is requested and approved by management.

Discovery Sober living is a 12-Step based house. Upon admission you have two weeks to find a sponsor. If you have trouble finding a sponsor, please contact Ryan or Ashley and assistance in helping find one will be provided.
A minimum of 3 AA, NA, or similar meetings per week is required. 90 meetings in 90 days are strongly encouraged.
All members are subject to random drug screenings or breathalyzer at any time.
There will be a mandatory house meeting on Sunday evening, with optional potluck meal prior to the meeting.
Members must hold a service commitment.
All members must maintain employment, be enrolled in school and/or job search, or volunteer 20 hours per week.
While on job search it is mandatory that you be out of the house actively seeking employment between 10am – 2pm. If you have secured a job and are waiting to start working, you must be out of the house doing something positive from 10am – 2pm.
Members seeking employment in an environment that serves alcohol must receive approval by management.
If a member is suspected of being under the influence of synthetic drugs that are not covered by our test, the member must get lab testing at Quest Diagnostics or a similar lab. If the members test comes back positive, he will be expelled from the house. This is at the member’s expense.
House cleaning and chores are assigned as needed. Members are expected to keep their assigned area clean and orderly. Members are expected to plan their time accordingly to complete their individually assigned chores.
No overnights will be allowed for anyone during the 20-cay probationary period without prior approval by management, and the request needs to be made at least 24 hours in advance.
All overnight stays off premises must be requested through house management.
Discovery Sober Living has the right to communicate with the member’s family or references before approving overnight passes.
One overnight stay per week is allowed, unless pre-approved by management.
Members accounts must be paid in full to be eligible for an overnight pass unless management has waived the rule in light of extenuating circumstances.
Overnights are 24 hours unless pre-approved by management.
If a member is taking prescription medication, it is his responsibility to take the medication as prescribe. There is no sharing of medication between members.
